WW1 Exhibition, can you help?

Can You Help?

As part of our upcoming exhibition to mark the centenary of the First World War, we are hoping to find someone, born and/or living in Havering by 1914, to represent each area of the borough. As such, we are still seeking information about individuals to represent Upminster (including Cranham and Ockendon), Hornchurch (including Elm Park and Emerson Park) and Rainham (including Wennington). Do you have a story or stories you can tell about an ancestor/relative, or just someone you or your family knew from one of these places who fought in the war, or nursed injured soldiers, etc? If you do, we would love to hear from you!

Please contact hmcollections@live.co.uk if you think you can help.
